Topic: Need suggestion for pocket wifi.

Spies, I'll start a new field work on Monday, more on traveling 60% domestically. I need an internet connection. suggest naman what's the best pocket wifi provider sa Pinas. Im thinking to get Sun or Smart since they have the widest coverage. what do you think?

Any experiences? good or bad? thanks

Sir the best is smart but some part of PI they have less coverage but if in manila best ang smart just aharing my 2 cents

based on my experience mas stable c globe kesa kay smart, im using globe thru celfon while smart yung pocket wifi. i also travel alot from North to South luzon, laging 2G lang cgnal ni smart sa mga ibang bayan, pero pag sa mga city mas mabilis c smart. pag HSDPA naman ang cgnal hindi ko magamit c smart, maybe there's something wrong with my settings.
i never tried Sun.

depende talaga sa location yan, what I did was I bought cdrking's portable wireless 3G router and power bank

I had it openlined (thru google so its free lang) then I bought Smart and Globe broadband sim viola laban na sa lahat. hindi ko pa natry ung powerbank but based sa mga forums it should power a tablet ng 3-4hrs.

or get mo ung dumbphone ng cherry mobile na my tethering capability and also could act as a usb modem

namamahalan ako sa pocket wifi, ung dalawa option ko is multi role for a slightly lesser price

yung sa sun 495 post paid. 6 months lock period. sino sun users here?

nakagamit na ako ng sun prepaid... di ko na ulit ginamit matapos ng 2 beses.

for some reason with sun nagkakavirus PC ko. 

and mabagal dito sa location ko, CaMaNaVa. and kung mapupunta ka ng probinsya, may mga area na walang signal ang sun.

im also looking for a pocket wifi and may nakita ako sa globe, yung Tattoo Superstick. 4G daw and up to 7.2 Mbps. 2895pesos yung price sa brochure.. may naka-subok na ba sainyo nun?

up naman guys.. plan ko kasi for using pocket wifi is to have my VOIP app. while im traveling yung client ko kasi gusto nakatutok sa trabaho ko palagi. My client is in Australia.. problem is may limit yung pocket wifi. as much as possible need ko yung unlimited.
