The rankings were based on ‘average passing’ in terms of “board examinations of all courses of all universities and colleges in the Philippines.”. Pano naman yung schools na nagooffer ng courses na walang board examinations? Like IT schools? Indi naman yata tama to.

this is based on the school's students, not the school itself.. best example would be the top school, UP.. they do not have the best facilities, equipments and structures, but all (well, maybe not all) students are top-notch.. kasi dadaan ka sa butas ng karayom (UPCAT) para makapasok ng UP, kaya even before they become UP studs, eh talagang matatalino na kami.. hehe..

You are missing my point. I am also from UP. I agree with you that it is not about structures and equipments. And I agree about the top 3 being all from UP. I just do not agree with the way the rankings were based. Have you read the article?

I did read the article.. you do have a point though.. but what I was stressing is that, the 'top 20 schools' listed were just based on the students and not the school itself (i'm being redundant here..  ) might as well just say, 'the top 20 schools with the best students' or something..
