Even if I am an Android fan, I would go with the Ipad 2. 

The screen on the Tab 10.1 is horrible.  For some reason, kitang kita yung separation ng pixels unlike the Ipad 2.

If I were you, i'd just get a retina china tablet and save your money for a 2nd hand ipad 3-4 or wait for a new branded hd tablet.

If you do not need an microsd slot, go for the nexus.

Go for tab 2.. Ipad has more games but most of the free ones are trials unlike android gamrs. Going back to the topic, tab 2 is more dynamic and unlimited unlike ipad

if you but the USB-OTG Dongle you can plug in a Flash Drive, External HDD or a USB Broadband (3g/4g HSPA+/LTE) Dongle on it if you get a WiFi only version

if you buy the 3g/4g version you can make Phone calls on it albeit more expensive than the wifi only version

if you have a Samsung Smart TV(or any TV with DLNA) you can ALLSHARE the contents of your Tab straight to your TV

Its better to browse on iPad because of the retina display with 2048 by 1536 pixel resolution at 264 ppi rather than the Galaxy Tab's 1280 by 800.,but isn't bad at all coz the web pages still look amazingly clear on the Galaxy Tab.,
About the flash player of Galaxy tab.,its better but i dont see that there's anything wrong using a 3rd party app.,i prefer to use skyfire on iPad.,

Gaming:
there's a lot of games on iOS than android because game developers are still slow to make tablet-optimized apps for android.,
the new iPad smashes all android tablets and even sony playstation vita in raw graphics power.,because the new ipad
uses A6X processor which includes a new graphics processing unit (GPU).,the latest version of the PowerVR (the SGX 554MP4) that is twice as powerful as the PS vita.,so for best graphics games...iPad wins over galaxy tab.,

iOS more secure than Android. I agree and validated by one of the top Ethical Hacker in the Philippines and country technical head (forgot their exact term) of an Antivirus company. He even addressed the public NOT to connect Android devices on company enterprise networks.
