NHI, yes, rules are to be followed, but i think arnel sang it great. and arnel put a label to it making it his own 'rendition', artists and other musical arranger do that for their craft to be acknowldeged somehow, parang watermark kumbaga sa photography,
let's face the fact, walang ibang good singer ng lupang hinirang kundi the composer itself, (and it is by judging how NHI reacts to every single singer of the national anthem. )
hindi nyo rin ba pansin na sa ibang country may iba iba rin silang rendition? may rules din sila to follow how to sing their anthems, ewan ko ba NHI,
kung gusto nila ipakita sa public ano talaga motibo nila being so strict about the national anthem, why not make an awareness campaign about sa ating national anthem hindi ba? give a wake up call to all filipinos na we need to know the song by heart.
ako, personally i want the anthem to be sanged the way it is composed, pero for artistry's sake, may renditions na nangyayari, and maybe julian felipe will also agree on that.
