If you really don't need a cellphone try a budget android tablet, or if you only want gaming then a PSP or a DS they may be old but their library of games are great.

If you are interested in gaming alone, why not buy a game console? sabi nga nung espiya na kasama natin, mura na ang DS ngayon, hitting the price range of 3 - 6k , add a little more (8-11k) meron ka na 3DS which can play both all the old games and upcoming ones, nandito na rin pinaka respectable na lineup when it comes to handheld gaming!

kung hanap mo para sa anak mo is portability, bili ka tablet/phablet. samsung tab 2 is much cheaper than ipad. cherry mobile fusion bolt ok na rin.

nokia lumia is a good phone, but not a good for gaming coz there's not a lot of free games on the market but if you consider paying at least $9.99 for a good game from xbox live then go for it..

Mura lang ang games sa Windows store (around 40 - 150 pesos). Kailangan mo nga lang siyempre ng credit card. Warning lang, alam ko common sense lang ito, pero just in case, if your are going to buy games, do it on a secured wifi at home, don't do it on a public free wifi. Marami ring free games sa Windows Store. 'Yung iba nga lang adware o limited/demo version, kailangan mong bilhin yung full version.
