China's unfair tactics in FIBA's Men's Basketball

Host nation China, as expected, is resorting to unfair tactics in the FIBA Asia Men’s Basketball Championships which they are hosting in Wuhan.

South Korea’s head coach Hur Jae is reportedly very upset over what was termed unfair operations in which the Korean team could not get enough practice time and good facilities before their opening game in which they routed Malaysia 89-42.

In a post game interview the former outstanding national team member said “ We could touch the court for the first time just ten minutes before the game. We could not have any practice time on the court floor before the game. This is totally crazy.”

Hur Jae recalled “Yesterday I asked for practice time on the main court. However, that request was denied. Organizing committee explained that every team cannot practice on the main court. But we already knew that the Chinese national team has been playing on the main court every day.”

Correspondent Jun Hwan Seo reported on the Asia Basket website that Hur Jae was also upset over the practice time assigned to the Koreans before the Malaysia game. The practice time assigned to the team on the so-called sub-court was 8:00 a.m. with game time at 3:30 p.m.

Seo reported what the Korean coach regarded as a “nonsensical situation” where Korea faces India on September 17 at 1:30 p.m. but have no training time before the game. The practice time allotted to them was 8:00 p.m. which is about five hours after the game against India ends.

In an effort to resolve their problems the Koreans arranged for private facilities to practice but the gym is very far from their hotel.

In another questionable practice by the hosts, correspondent Seo pointed out that the FIBA referees are staying in the same hotel with the Chinese players which resulted in complaints by both Korea and defending champions Iran.

for the past years china was considered as the full house team...with their height and and shooting abilities, no doubt there were one heck of a team...however for past two years they were beaten by iran and reign as defennding champs...since only one spot remaining for london olympics, china is so eager to win it and make it through the tournament...

Talagang by hook or by crook kukunin ng China, lintek talaga mga tsekwang ito, mga mandaraya. Di na kataka-taka at pati mga produkto nila dinadaya, pati di nila isla kinukuha at pati sakit (remember bird flu) tinatago nila. >:D

who cares about that if they were really a strong team who cares about the court

if you looked closely kobe bryant noon nasa Pinas sya kahit anong court e nakakapasok sya ng puntos

Letting you familiarize the court 10mins prior the game  is useless vs a team na araw-araw ng eensayo sa very playing court na yun.

parang gusto kong kampihan si Sir IDIOT dito,
for the simple reason na hindi ba nasa international
tournament sila, so, dapat standard lahat, what i mean is
dapat parehas or standard and height at diameter ng ring, distance
ng free throw lane at three point lane or area, so dun

Lahat ng Players in any competition they must adapt in any environment, Adaptation is Must in every athlete.

The only thing that smells fishy is yung News na sa isang hotel lang tumutuloy ang Chinese Basketball team and the Refs..

The refs part is something to worry. But based on the score we had against China, I don't think we should think about that. ::lmao

@ewing

@kluverbucy

ang purpose ng warm ups ay mag-adjust ang mga muscles to prevent injuries not necessary means to familiarize the equipment

for me it is not the reason kung di nila magamit ang court lame excuse before sabi nga standard lahat yan therefore ang court mo sa inyo ay ganun din sa kanila therefore si manong referee at climate ang kalaban mo

@Idiot

Sa warm ups naman dalawang part yun, may stretching which is to prevent or minimize injuries, yung isa pang part is shooting which is to familiarize the team sa court and of course practice their shot.
