Jailbroken PS3 cfw 3.55 to OFW possible?

I'm not against the jailbreaking scene, gusto ko lang irevert to the official firmware ang ps3 ko. Pwede na bang idiretso update na? I read somewhere on the internet na kapag jailbroken, hindi na pwede i-update to official firmware. Is this true kaespiya? here are the details of my console.

120 GB Slim
Version: 3.55 CFW
Jailbreak - Multiman (the later version)
CECH-2012A


Amazebreak Jailbreak (USB)
Multiman Jailbreak


Gusto ko lang din sana mag online games na legit. Thanks sa mga replies in advance.

Nevermind, I found some answers to my queries pero I just have to confirm this dito sa atin.

1. Download PSNinja_v4 and install it
2. Wipeout the launch files ba yun
3. Quick format the drive
4. Install OFW 3.55 (which I have downloaded na)
5. Install 4OFW 4.31 which is the newest firmware from Sony

If I miss anything please confirm po. Ayoko lang ma-ban sa PSN.  thanks again!

Easier way is reformat your hard drive and install ofw 4.11, thats it. You don't need ps ninja, para lang yan kung gusto mo maglaro online na nasa cfw ka at di ka mahuli ng sony.

sayang pagka jailbreak. benta mo yan ng mahal kasi jailbroken then bili ka ng bago, rare na ang ps3 na ma jailbroken ngayon - selling around 15k. kung sa commercial store ka bibili ng jailbroken ps3 benta nila ng 20k. brandnew na di ma jailbreak is around 11 - 12 k

Yeah, benta mo na lang yan. Jailbreak ps3 could go up to 15 to 18k, mas mataas pa nga kung sa ibang bansa mo ibebenta. Dito nga sa amin umaabot pa 22k plus ang external hd. Benta mo tapos bili ka ng 11k na super slim na 500 gb pa ang hd.

I will, ang hirap lang magbenta. I will post an ad sa Sulit. and by the way, sabi mo install 4.11? ang latest ata 4.30 eh. Should I give it a try rin? I mean after reformatting, diretso update to 4.30?

Mali yun. 4.31 pala hehe! Pero kung gusto mo talaga safe na method, pwede mo rin na reformat muna hd mo tapos install 3.55 ofw, restore system mo agad tapos pwede mo na install ofw 4.31.

2. Enter Recovery Mode
3. Install 3.55 OFW from there
4. After installation, update system to 4.31 from the XMB.

1.format hd or system setting and restore ps3 system.
2. install 3.55 ofw from xmb lang, kung ayaw mag install then sa recovery ka.
3. go to system settings then restore default settings (optional)
4. install ofw 4.31

don't worry about getting banned. As long as nasa ofw ka di ka mababan. Yung nakakatakot lang ngayon eh kaya ng mga hacker na magnakaw ng idps ng ibang ps3 para maunban nila mga ps3 nila. Malas mo lang kung legit ka tapos manakaw nila ps3 id mo, kasi pag ma ban sila ulit kahit ikaw ma ban rin.

galing ako moa kahapon. . .  tumingin ako ng super slim na ps3 500 gb (not jailbreak syempre) nasa 12.850k with free 1 game of your choice... tagal ko na gusto bumili ng ps3. . . please give me advice buying ps3. . yung pwede ako mag laro online and pwede makapag download ng games. .  thanks mga sir. .

buy one, it's worth it. Matagal pang susuportahan ng sony ang ps3 at maraming magagandang exclusives ang sony. Kung di jailbreak ang ps3 mo, you have no choice but to get all the stuff you want sa psn store. Another thing that you must know is that the super slim ps3 eh di pwede ma jailbreak.

so bilin ko na ba yung ps3 na hindi jailbreak? or buy ps3 na jailbreak?

Go for non jailbreak. Its cheaper tapos you could play online. Maraming ps3 games na di mo talaga maeenjoy kung di ka makalaro online.

I agree. Go legit. Walang hassle sa pag oonline as long as you have a stable wifi connectivity. Pag ipunan mo lang kahit yung $20 na PSN card, pambili ng PSN games or DLCs.

Icer, sa recovery mode ko na lang install, para safe. haha! thanks ulet.
