Arum gets Donaire back...

Nonito Donaire rightfully belongs to Top Rank, and not with Golden Boy Boy Promotions (GBP)...

Arbitrator Daniel Weinstein has ruled that Top Rank holds promotional rights over Donaire, a fast-rising world bantamweight champion who thought his contract with Bob Arum had already lapsed and he was free to sign with GBP...

GBP had made an announcement last March 16 saying the Los Angeles-based outfit has acquired Donaire, a claim that Arum immediately disputed during a recent trip in the country. Arum said his company continues to have a live contract with the 27-year-old holder of the World Boxing Council and World Boxing Organization 118-lb titles...CLICK HERE...

na-ganito na rin si pacman ehh..kaso, napigilan ung kanya..pero syempre mejo oblong naman talaga sya pagdating sa mga technicalities sa mga usaping kontrata..pero si donaire..may alam din nmn cguro sya..tpos, ung asawa pa nya, mas masahol pa sa manager ehh.. tsaka, nanalo lng ng malupit kay montiel..., biglang lumaki ung ulo ni donaire..di tulad ni pacman..

speaking of pacman..maloko narin sya mga spies..marunong n kcng mgtwitter ehh...hehe.."magsumbong ka sa lolo mong panot"..hehe

"Hopefully they’ll come to their senses and finish the contract with us," said Arum. "I will promote him for the rest of his contract really hard, really well. When his contract is over (with Top Rank), he is free to go anyplace he wants."

"He has to come back. He has a lot of big fights coming under Top Rank," said Arum, whose next move is to meet up with Cameron Dunkin, Donaire’s manager.

"The longer this thing plays out, the further away his next fight will be," added Arum.

Top Rank lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said Donaire has no choice but fulfil his obligations.
