lebron and the cavs might be able to pass on detroit but taking on the spurs in the finals is a different story. lebron's game continue to improve as the series goes and it will be a major accomplishment for the franchise to reach the nba finals. winning the championship would surely be a bonus. besides, i dont think the spurs would let him score 25+ straight points. nothing against lebron, but a few more trip to the playoffs and he'll get the job done.

Yup, a repeat of last year's eastern conf. semi-finals. This is where Detroit's championship mettle will be tested once again. If the Cavs do go through and defeat Detroit, Spurs will be a big challenge even for LJ23. He will score, no doubt. But his looks and touches, if not limited, will be highly contested. Expect Bowen to be on him for 48 mins. It will be up to the Cav's supporting cast to win the championship.  toast::

Never been a fan of james because at first he seems to be over rated but now I am a convert by watching Game 5 of the series. He puts up a dazzling performance that reminds me of Jordan. Even greater that Jordan. Imagine a crucial game and you score almost all of your team's points in the 4th quarter and 2 OTs. Amazing.

I do agree that it will be to the utmost boredom of fans if there will be another Detroit vs. Spurs finals. The tainted game of Spurs vs. Suns didn't contribute to the TV ratings of the NBA. And a Detroit-Spurs match will make the ratings go even lower. The only one that can salvage and have a lesser effect will be a Cleveland-Spurs final match. But I agree to the one poster here that it will end up going the Spurs way. Although I can't help but think Billups-Hamilton equates to Parker-Ginobli but Wallace-Duncan is different. Duncan is not an entertaining player but an effective player. I'd rather get my prescious sleep than watch Duncan play.

It will be interesting if it is a Cleveland-Phoenix matchup. But Stern got in the way and well, rewarded a dirty play. That will always stir up issues and will be dominant after the end of the season. I hope Stern and Jackson will stop being jerks and listen to the people who brings them money, fans and sports commentators.

Cleaveland in the finals.
