I tried playing avi and mp4 on my jasper. I prompted me that i need to connect to xbox live and to download the latest media update. My problem is my unit is modded, ito lang available dito sa CDO. My question is safe ba to connect and download the update.

if ur gonna do it once for that download only, ok lang yan. but if ur going to play bootleg games eventually, you can get banned from xbl and lose that media update.

So okay lang if i log in as long as i don't play online? Another alternative for me is to stream it from my pc or laptop.

i think its ok...try mo if u can use a silver account to download the media update....para di ka na bumili ng gold xbl acct.
