Parang nung naging VP si Binay, biglang naging matunog ang mga Binay sa Pinas. Dati sa Makati ko lang naririnig yang mga Binay at take note si VP Binay lang ang kilala ko noon na Mayor ng Makati. Biglang lumakas ang loob nitong mga to nung naging VP erpats nila. Pero ang tunay dyan, si Erap ang GODFATHER.

There is no way we can get rid of political dynasties in the Philippines, not in the next 20 years at least, unless a "real" evolution comes along, and what is that real evolution? Dissolve the Senate and the House thats the  only way to end political dynasties.

Even Pacquio is starting his own dynasty.  His wife and another relative are also running for office. gago lang.

Political Dynasties will remain in the Philippines....it is a fact of life that we have to deal with.....our societal structure is a conducive environment to maintain political dynasties....the rich needs politicians they can control - that means relatives or mercenary politicians who will kowtow to the highest bidders...and the poor will just sell their votes.....and the middle class will just hyperventilate in multi-media forums and acts like it is somebody else's fault.

Talking about dynasties is just hot air if we do not do anything to change the political landscape. First step will be for everybody to start voting for new faces in the Senate like Casino, Hagedorn and Villanueva.  Names that most are familiar with have been in the Senate for a long time but their tenure does not seemed to have produced the changes that everybody yearn for. Tell me what legislation has Loren or Chiz produced during their most recent terms that could have created jobs or provided for lower cost of electricity and water?  If a legislator has can show verifiable accomplishment in his/her respective district, maybe, there is a chance that the person can do it on a national scale. For example, Gordon may have changed the face of Subic during the 90s but in his later term in the Senate, what legislation was he responsible that may have changed our lives?  Wasn't he just active during senate investigations which were just means to showcase debating skills? Please do not waste your votes and do not be carried with slogans. Analyze their more recent performances and make intelligent decisions.

Lahat ng nakabold ang pangalan ay kamag-anak ni Edward Hagedorn. Asawa niya si Ellen Hagedorn at in-law niya si Lucilo bayron na parehong kumakandidato para mayor kaya sigurado na kanila pa rin ang mayoral position. Kapatid niya si Douglas Hagedorn who is running for congressman at pamangkin niya si Mark Hagedorn who is running for vice mayor. Di ko na sinama yung mga kamag-anak niya na running for city councilor.

Just giving you some infos. Sa pagkakaintindi ko kasi e considered as political dynasty na yung sinusubukan i-establish ng mga Hagedorn dito sa Puerto Princesa.

Napakasakit isipin na ginagamit ng iba ang position sa gobyerno for power, fortune at fame naisantabi na ang public service maririnig mo nalang ang salitang yun sa panahon ng pangangampanya pero kapag naka pwesto na pakiramdam nila sila na ang hari na dapat pagsilbihan ng bayan. Tsk tsk tsk!
Yung political dynasty hindi na mawawala yan dahil ginagawa nilang advantage yan kapag kilala na ang pangalan nila, kung yun nga mga kamag-anak na ang kilala sa pangalan nila ay yung middle name ginagawa nila mas naka highlight yun sa mga tarpaulin at sample balot na pinamimigay nila para makita ng mga tao na kamag-anak sila nung sikat na pulitiko.

Public service has never been the objective of these monsters. It's all about power, prestige, and pera! I have a feeling that they actually don't want real progress because that would wipe out a system where they are thriving. They want to keep the masses dumb so we'll be stuck here forever.
