lemon grass and citronella grass

i think the two of them are different because citronella grass NARDUS is used frequently in soap candles and insect repellant and cannot be eaten unpalatable in nature while lemon grass  CITRATUS used widely in cooking and facial creams and lotions may contain also citronella

citronella grass - color red or maroon something ang stem
lemon grass - white ang stem

and about sa research mo
before I left the Department of Health in 2009 this is one of my future plan proposal as a alternative repellant for mosquito sadly i don't have data some says it won' work kase you need a lot of oil na kailangan y rub mo sa katawan mo and some says it is effective  buti pa pandan effective sya sa ibang insect  har har har

may isa pang halaman they named it KATOL-KATOL tree they said it is also effective a mosquito repellant di ko lam kung anong halaman might need help
