Yun intensive phase ng treatment sa TB po will take 2months(taking the 4course of medicine) then 7months more maintenanvce phase...
Anyways,treatment varies depending on the condition.so @ least nga po it will take @ least 6months.

may Category po kasi ang paggagamot sa may TB.
this depends on the site, result ng sputum exam, severity ng disease and if the patient underwent previous treatment
pwedeng 6-12 months ang treatment

kung pulmonary na new case usually 2 months sa quadriple therapy (HRZE) then 4 months na double therapy (HR)



sino ba ang may TB?

trez is right... management for TB takes 6-12 mos depending on the severity of the disease... however typical therapy is done 6-9mos..
a repeat sputum exam is done after 2 mos (usually to check the effectiveness of therapy), if it turns out negative treatment is still continued until 4 mos using double therapy.. if it sputum turns out positive after 2mos then a repeat quadruple therapy for 4 mos is done (if sputum turns out to be MDR-TB (multi drug resistant TB) additiional drugs are employed .. if its not MDR-TB and the the patient is stubborn not to take the drug or skipping the drug then repeat of 2 mos therapy is done)

the spot you see in chest x-ray will be permanent, it is the scar done by disease...

an advice for effective TB management is to bring the patient to a TB-DOTS center, may free na anti-Tb drug (cause the drugs are so expensive for a 6mos treatment) and its an effective management for TB

erpat ko ang may spot eh

hindi naman talaga siya TB eh may spot lang na nakita sa baga niya at malusog naman siya kaso may nakita lang kasi na maliit na spot kaya medyo nagwoworry kami

hindi kaya nagamot na yung tatay mo before at scar yung nakita sa xray?

ano ba ang sabi ng radiologist sa xray? at saan daw banda? sa upper lobes ba?

buti pa.. pa check na lang kayo sa pulmonologist or sa infectious diseases specialist. tapos kung TB talaga, pwede kayong  pumunta sa health center para ma enrol sa TB-DOTS

6 moths tol.

bakit may tama ka ba?

ito gamot jan,

QUADTAB good for first 2 months mo

then TRITAB til the end of your recovery.

PLUS Vitamins...

Moriamin...

bawal ka sa ganito ha!  toast::

wala naman ganun erpat ko pero last year nagkaroon din siya ng ganun pero gumaling na yun eh nagtaka lang ako bakit bumalik na naman ulit
