here's a link http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/customer_part_detail.asp?PartID=442.  Thats the GT28 disco potato.  Read many good things about it, almost no lag but that was in a SR20DET engine.  Although the B18 is a bit smaller, the lag wouldnt be that much different probably.  Since the B18C is a high revving engine, spooling the turbo to its operational speed shouldnt be a problem.  For the T3 with 60-62 trim and 0.60 housing, boost onset is around 3k to 4k rpm, power potential is around 180-300hp.  The high end number is running on race gas.  Got the numbers from Sport Compact Car Engine and Driveline Handbook.  From the Jim Wolf Technology website, it has a link to Garrett's turbo site which the efficiency of the T3 can be found.

Tell your friend to check out www.superhonda.com for more info on boosting B18s.  Is this his first Turbo application?
