need advice on buying a 2nd hand car
« on: June 17, 2013, 04:02:36 am »
bale plano ko kasi bumili ng sasakyan. ang budget ko is 350k max. kung less mas okay. hehe. advice lang kung ano pinaka okay na sasakyan na mabibili sa ganyan halaga. ang naiisip ko lang kasi 02-03 CRV, 04 Xtrail, 01-03 Explorer, 02-04 escape. Nakita ko kasi sa sulit pasok sila sa budget e. saka mahilig kasi ako magtravel kaya wala sedan dyan. hehe. opinions at suggestions mga braders?

CRV at X-Trail medyo pasok sa panlasa ko simply because i have people i know who actually owns one and liking such vehicles.  Explorer at Escape i dont have much impression besides Escape, according to what others say, is a bit of a gas-guzzler. 

my advice is don't restrict yourself into a couple of vehicle models but rather on a single vehicle platform - say corssovers, and research on the various vehicles in that class.  weigh both the pros and cons of each vehicle.  after you have done your research online, it is time to personally look around on what sellers have to offer.  don't rush yourself into buying, look around till you get to see several offerings then you decide on which one is for you.

All of your choices if I'm not mistaken are all gas-guzzler. Especially the Ford Explorer.

With your budget of choices among CUV's ,I would opt to choose 2003 CR-V I-vtec choose the second generation with third row seats. Why? xtrail is very known for eating your gas up haha, Ford has less pyesa, not unlike Honda you got replacement, after markets and jdm. sa nissan and ford meron pero very minimal talo ka sa maintenance. You're choosing more than a decade old car. kailngan practical ka. hth.

ps: Super gwapo ng CRV. :D

Oo nga marami din nagsabi sakin na malakas daw sa gas mga yan. any suggestions mga sir kung ano okay at pasok sa budget ko?

puro 03 Crv nga talaga madalas ko binibisita sir leightot, hehe. kaso hirap humanap ng maayos pa. yung magaganda nasa 400k+ pa e. haha.

Ang good condition ng 2nd generation crv sa market the top of the line is nasa 350k. you'll see 300k or 320k with pero stock lang. check sulit.com.ph pag may 400k try to negotiate. expected na pagawain just be sure minor repair lang...

Engine and transmission be sure that this is in very very good condition.

kung mahilig ka mag travel mag diesel ka... merona ko toyota innova 2008 gas... for 5 year ko gamit 8km per liter ang takbo non.. huling compute ko naka 600,000 na ako sa gas.. ang naitakbo na ng kotse ko mga nasa 90km na...   kung diesel yan mga nasa 200k lang siguro crudo ko sa 5 years..

crv mahal maintenance niyan yung xtrail naman malakas sa gas yan...

mag innova j ka nalang na diesel..

FYI sulit sellers, or any online car sellers are much better than buy and sells why? because these are end users, private owners and not into business of disposing the car for money, meaning the quality of car that they are marketing has lesser risk than buy and sells. Its up to TS where he would want to buy his car, either Cars that has been repossessed by banks or Second hand Car dealers either which bring your own TRUSTED mechanic and your instinct.

Most Of the time taga talier din yan na nagpapanggap na Direct Seller. Buy And Sell Kami ng kotse kaya alam namin yung mga so called "Play" nga mga hinayupak na yan  laffman:: . And What's worse is kalimitan ang nabili sa Sulit is DIRECT Buyer din, na pwede nilang tagain yung presyo hanggang sa sagad sagad :) . Sa Talier , Hindi naman lahat yun kotse nila mga pinapa benta lang din and pinapatungan ng +5k or so . nyways the last decision is only on TS ;)

Kaya nga mas ok bumili sa private user instead sa buy and sell. Kasi nanloloko sila just to dispose the car because business is business di ba. :D and how will you figured out market price of a vehicle if di ka titingin online. TS beware dont buy cars on BUY and Sells. :D

totoo 'to. haha. may mga nakakameet ako na sinasabi nila sa sulit na 1st owner daw sila Pero pagdating sa papel Hindi nila pangalan. nakakainis nga e. hehe.

hirap nga talaga pag sa mga nagaahente ka natapat. mataas na nga presyo, mga sinungaling pa. haha.

may nakita na Kami 03 crv, kaso ang prob ang sabi nya sya 1st owner tapos Hindi sa manga nakapangalan. ang explanation nya unemployed daw sya nung kinuha yun tapos sa tito nya nakapangalan. open deed e. pinacheck pa namin sa lto yung mga papel.
