about sa airbox filter ng motor

ask ko lang mga sir na ok lang ba tanggalin ung carton sa airbox filter ng motor?? wave 100 ung motor ko. ok lang ba na wala un?? or hindi?? ung carton lang po ha.

ok lng yun . makita mo ang difference pag wala ang carton na filter. yun carton na yan ang nagsilbing filter ng air debris. akin nga wala nang filter2x yun rubber tube na agad

bibilis ang pasok ng hangin sa makina.. kase wala na restriction.. sakin gumaganda ang takbo ng motor pag ganun.. pero pag pinasukan ng alikabok o anu mang debris.. diretso sa carb mo un tas sa makina.. dudumi ang makina mo in the long run kelangan mo pa magoverhaul..

yung old na yamaha dt-g 175 ng tatay ko scoth brite gamit nya as filter until now good running condition pa rin heheh

baket mo pa kelangang tanggalin? hugasan mo na lang siguro at linisan. wala rin magbabago sa hatak ng motor mo kung gagalawin mo air filter mo. Stock engine ba yan? or modified? Sa mga modofoed lang na makina kelangang mag open carb or tanggalin ang filter. Disadvantages, maaring mapasok ng dumi yan. Masisira makina mo. Pagumulan, madaling mababasa carb mo and it will cause a hard starting engine.  ;D

Minsan kapag tinanggal ang airbox, humihina ang takbo ng motor, kailangan mo i-adjust and air/fuel screw ng carb para ma tono ng mabuti. Tried it on my old Honda CB1 400cc, pumapalyar kapag walang airbox/filter.
