Exercise : Bicycle o Jogging?

para sa inyo mga brother and sister of espiya nation, ano ang mas prefer nyong ehersisyo, ang magbisikleta o ang mag-jogging? bakit?

Imo jogging would be a better routine because your using your whole body to move and exercise. When riding your bike, it's mainly your thighs, and legs getting the exercise...  but this still depends on your lifestyle, both still needs balance diet to achieve your goal. :)

diet is still important no matter what exercise you get in to.

problema sa jogging, injuries sa tuhod. walang pyesa nyan sa banawe.

equipment for jogging- running shoes P2500-P7500 (a pair can last you 6 months at least)
equipment for biking- bike P25k-P500k (you may be tempted to upgrade whenever new parts or bikes come out)

kuha ka ng magandang bike, tapos overtake-an ka ng nag deliver ng dyaryo o pandesal. ayos!

kung ang need mo ay magpapayat... jogging.

both are good for cardio exercises. kaya lang di ako pumapayat sa biking.  ::laffman

now i'm doing brisk walking instead of jogging after ko ihatid anak ko sa school. naglalakad lang ako pauwi. tipid na sa pamasahe, nakapagexercise pa.  ;D

pinakamaganda talaga jogging at di ako naniniwala sa diet...

ipawis mo lang lahat ng mga mantika mo sa katawan, ayos na...

How much more of a workout would it be if a person were to ride a recumbent bike instead of a regular bike?

thanks po sa replies.. mukang jogging na lang, double purpose pa, cardio exercise + papawis.. badminton din paminsan minsan..

may point din si desperado, dahil nung payat pa ako, ganito na ako kalakas kumain pero di ako tumataba dahil may basketball ako nun.. nanaba nung tumigil ako sa paglaro ng basketball.. pero ngayon tamang food intake at exercise, para maging physically fit.. :D

Jogging is much cheaper and you can do running almost on any terrain, kailangan mo lang ng reliable na running shoes, and secong na lang yung "optional accessories" like music player / heart rate etc.

biking medyo mahal lalo na if you're getting serious about gears and accessories it cost hundreds of thousands... in biking less stress sa mga joints mo, mas malayo ang mararating mo and very efficient, you can use your bike if you want to go somewhere na medyo malayo para lakarin pero malapit naman kung mag sasakyan ka..

Depende lang iyan talaga sa individual, ikaw na rin ang makaksagot dyan..

i have seen so many guys and riding buddies doing both.

There certainly are better exercises than the two options given. Like for example swimming, which eliminates the wear and tear from running, and kung may malapit na pool sa inyo magkano lang naman per session (or some condos and villages, its free).

If you consider running, then I will do sprints instead of yung mga nakikita ko sa Luneta na kala mo namamasyal lang tapos kakain sa buffet or mang inasal after then nagtataka bakit di sila pumapayat  ::laffman

I prefer much more ang jogging whole body exercise talaga ako kasi parehas ko ginagawa although d naman ganon kalalayo binibike ko pero mas intense talaga jogging or sir meron mga cardio exercise na pwede mo gawin sa bahay at mga intense din

Kung yang dalawa ang pagpipilian mo, pipiliin mo ang bike kung ayaw mo o hindi pwede sa iyo kapag natatagtag ang leg bones mo. Dahil may exercise bike, option din ang bike kung factor ang weather sa lugar niyo.
