Who would've thought that Vera will get dominated on the ground by Silva (who's well known for his striking); my feeling is that Brandon was taken by suprise and that he concentrated on his stand up during the training

Thiago Silva is black belt BJJ and his ground game is very underrated just like Rampage, Bisping, and Shogun.

mhina tlga sa ground game si vera kung muay thai match ang labanan kayang kaya nya si thiago  magaganda bitaw at patama ng kicks nya at mas malakas compare kay thiago ;D

Yes but with Brandon's brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and background in Greco Roman Wrestling, nobody will expect that he will be man-handled like that

I dunno about you guys but I really hate Vera's take down defense. Ive watched alot of his fights but i really don't see it. Probably because he is fighting elite wrestlers? No clue really  ???

Lately nakaka disappoint laban ni brandon. Kaasar tuloy panuorin. Unlike nung bago pa lang sya sa UFC parang nawala yung killer instict nya. previous fight nya nabasag cheek bone nya vs. jones tapos heto naman ngaun broken nose. I think he should seriously really think about retiring. Psychological yung problem nya. Parang boxer na na knockout na di na ulit nakalaban ng maayos nung mga sumunod na fights.tsk!

His take down defense was evident against Randy Couture; most probably he prepared for a stand up battle and forgot that he was fighting an MMA battle
