Sunlife and Philam life provides seminars and training for their rep I was once with PhilAm life I passed IC and Investors for UITF and just pure investments no insurance attached (gaya ng mutal funds and UITF) ang sa Philam free sa Sun Life may bayad the exams are hard grabe as in hard talaga I have to take it twice to pass. AXA and Insular provides training din kasu parang may bayad din yata. But worth it. Then if you want to play sa stocks all you need is online banking pwede na. May links ang mga companies and banks for that.

mahirap siya talaga kung iisipin mo yun up and down  ng market. medyo safe na yun inaadvise nila na invest regularly whther up or down ang market.

yun stock ko kasi nadali nun bumagsak nitong august or sept yun stock market nag negative-20 yun stock.Although may nagadvice sa akin na tanggalin yun pera ko sa stock kasi nga babagsak, hindi ako nakinig hehehe.  So hoping next year bumawi siya.

that is the very scenario i am afraid of... better get an adviser initially if you want to get far in this... and also listen to them since they know more than what we do... :)

babagsak naman talaga yan

Markets crash all the time. You should, at minimum, expect stocks to fall at least 10% once a year, 20% once every few years, 30% or more once or twice a decade, and 50% or more once or twice during your lifetime. Those who don't understand this will eventually learn it the hard way.

mas maganda nga bumili kung bagsak stocks lalo na mga kilalang company at kung bagsak yan e makakabawi naman yan sa ayaw at sa gusto mo  pwera na lang e kabuhayan mo ang stock market malaking problema yun

dahil election time e politicians will naturally sell their stocks kaya you will feel the downward trend

first of all, one does not "play in the stock market". you are using real money, not play money. kung iiyak ka pag nalugi ka sa stock market, i suggest na huwag mo nang ituloy.

if you are interested in investing in stocks, here's what i can share with you:
- make sure that whatever amount you invest in the stock market is money you are willing to lose. make sure that it is something that you won't lose sleep over.
- talk to a reputable stock broker or two before you even put in a single hard-earned peso.
- read a lot about the stock market. the PSE website and the business pages of the daily newspapers will come in handy.
- ask your friends who have already invested in the stock market. learn from them.
- unless you want to go into what they call "technical trading", stocks are usually for the medium- to long-term. it takes skill to take advantage of the daily ups and downs in the stock market. if you are a newbie, i suggest that you avoid investing for short-term gains alone.

hope these help.

so true yun willing to lose ka, sa case ko nun nalugi ako ng -20 mas naengayo pa ako mag invest...

i started with 10t lang then literally nilaro ko lang siya. basta bumili lang ako ng bumili. then after 3 days nung may tumaas na stock ako benta agad. then nun nagcompute ako, lugi pa pala ako kasi hindi ko naitake to consideration na kapag bumili ka at nagbenta ka meron charge yun online system . So, ginawa ko  para makabawi nag infuse uli ako ng pera sa stock market, then bili uli , then nun after ilang days tumaas, benta. Sa computation ko kumita naman ako. Then fund uli may stock  then nag stable yun market, nag umpisa yun issue sa china na nagcrash, then US bumagsak. although, may nagsabi nga sa akin na tanggalin ko pera ko , hindi ko siya tinanggal, pinabayaan ko bumagsak kasi first of all wala naman million ang pera ko sa stock market and also short tern-long term ang strategy ko. Yun mga stock na babagsak papatulugin ko up to the point na tumaas sila then benta.

as per sinasabi ng mga financial managers  the safest route ng stock market is  buy blue chips and then every month bibili ka ng same stocks regardless if up or down si market.

typically, this is what i use to determine whether it is time for me to sell my shares of stock:

if (selling price * number of shares) - (acquisition price * number of shares) - (commission of the broker when i bought the stock) - (commission of the broker when i sell the stock) >= (my target profit per share), then i can sell the stock.

one thing that most people don't consider is the commission of the broker. they charge a commission when they buy your shares. they also charge a commission when you ask them to sell your shares. unless you are a licensed broker with your own stock brokerage company, there will always be a broker between you and the trading floor. this also applies to those systems that let you do it online. even if they say that you do the trading yourself, you need to ask yourself these questions:
1. are you a licensed stock broker?
2. do you have a stock brokerage company (your own)?

if you answered "no" to these two questions, this means that you are not really doing the trading yourself. you may give the order to buy or sell the shares, but you are still going through a broker, and this means that you have to pay a commission to him.

with that in mind, i always take the buy and sell recommendations of a stock broker with a grain of salt. since they make money only when someone buys or sells shares of stock, it is to their best interest for them to recommend that one should buy/sell on a regular basis. this translates to commissions for them.

hope this helps.
