: [TUT] How to Share Internet connection of your Laptop to your mobile phones.

connecting your device like mobile phones through your laptop without installing any 3rd party softwares. Ive tried it for myself with my Idevices and samsung mobile phone.

tawag dito ad hoc network connection.

Step by Step Procedure:

1. Turn on your Bluetooth Device and your Wireless (WIFI) LAN

2. Click Start

3. Go to Control Panel

4. look for Network ad Sharing Center

5. Click Set up a new connection or network

6. On the popup window, scroll down and click Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network

7. Then click Next and another Next

8. Type whatever you like on Network name: (for example Noob_me)

9. On Security Type:, choose WEP

10. and choose any Security Key: (for example 123456789) Note: important to put a strong key to avoid other people to connect to your laptop.

11. then click Next

12. Message window networks have been successfully created and ready for use.

13. Check the entire wireless network by clicking the icon in the system tray, if successful you will see the network created is ready.

14. Choose the created connection then click Connect and it will become waiting to users.

15. Now go to your device and turn on your WIFI connection and connect to your laptop.

16. SURF and ENJOY!

4. Click Local Area Connection

5. Properties

6. Then Sharing

7. Tick the Box on Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection

8. Then Ok

9. Try mo ulit

basta nakakaconnect ang laptop mo thru wifi connection, pwede yan.

nasa kwarto ako ngayon sa 2nd floor gamit yung wireless N USB Adapter gamit kasi ng anak ko yung desktop sa ibaba.

sulit na rin for a 380 pesos USB lan adapter from cdr king. toast:: 3 months old na going 4 this coming october

Sige sir salamat sa reply try ko bumili ngayon week after ng sahod! Haha..nga pala yung installation madali lang naman siguro as easy as 1, 2, 3 hehe

Sir bakit pag click ko na yung Properties eh nag hhang up na yung Local Area Connection ko? Any help..thanks!
