Filipino Nurse and The New Slave Trade
« on: August 22, 2008, 10:47:50 pm »
It is quite depressing when you think about the reality that many Filipino nurses,in guise of a clean white uniform and dollar accounts have become slaves in a foreign land alien to them.

I RESENT calling them slaves, and in guise of a clean

uniform...mind you it took them years to become nurses, they

are professionals as many as other people working

especially Filipinos abroad. I am proud and i admire those

filipinos who looks to foreign countries as "bread

baskets" people with limited mental scope think that if

you work abroad even if your a professional are considered

slave by some of us...people who work far away from thier

loved ones, imagine thier initial sacrifices just only for

them to meet the needs of the ones they love, financially,

spiritually and morally. i will not delve again to the

fact that here in our country we live with poverty in many

ways, having to have a dream and a goal and fulfilling it

is much of an achievement to a man. i would rather look at them as economic earners of our country than just some mere SLAVE, granting BUT NOT ACCEPTING, these kinds of slave earn more than any other SLAVE in KSA, Jordan, Beirut with free punch in the face for breakfast, a kick in the groin for lunch, and iron the SLAVE in the back for dinner if they have any dinner at all. mabuti sila kumikita ng dolyar e ang ibang tao dyan inggit na inggit sa dolyar lalo na kapag pinoy na ang nagkaka-dolyar.
KUDOS TO ALL THE FILIPINO PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE NOW WORKING ABROAD I LOVE YOU ALL AND THANK YOU

Darknight, thanks you have such an open-mindednes attitude towards the image.I am sympathetic too to these OFWs.That's the reason why I came up with the idea,so the Filipinos here in the Philippines will think na hid\ndi pinupulot ang pera sa Amerika.

Kaya MasterSargeant, may freedom of expression tayo.Lalu na biased sa OFWs and image.HIndi mo muna intindihin ang image bago ka satsat ng satsat.
Ikaw pa pasado ka na ng NCLEX?

Mag review ka na lang muna.
Gusto mo i review pa kita.
