First, Clottey didn't do anything different. He played his game. There shouldn't be no surprise unless you believe he also sold his last few fights.

Second, do you even know what the issue is why the Mayweather bout broke down? This fight doesn't change anything. The only thing that will come to the negotiation table is this fight's PPV number which by forecast will not do better than the coming Cinco De Mayo fight.

I have to disagree. Mayweather doesn't attract casual fans. Pacquiao does. Look at our very own Redsauce. He doesn't know anything about boxing but Pacquiao got him watching. He didn't know Pacquiao/Mayweather broke down because of the drug testing issues. He thought it was a split problem [Clottey win puts Pacquiao in a better negotiating position.].

(Note: Redsauce made an example out of me, although he didn't have the manhood to key in my name, and I'm just returning the crap.)

I also heard that. What I'm gunning for was he claimed to know Pacquiao since he was once worked as his cutman. Then in the match, defense was all Clottey do. I think it was the master plan based on what surfaced the fight.

At your first point, people tend to think Clottey under performed in this match. What they're over looking is how well Pacquiao boxed to keep Clottey out of his game.
