6 died and 20+ sugatan...

One of the fatalities was identified as Misamis Oriental Provincial Board Member Roldan Lagbas. The 44-year-old Lagbas is serving his first term as a member of the Provincial Board. His brother, Benedict, is also a board member of Misamis Oriental. Both were elected in the May 2013 elections. Junjun, Lagbas' another brother, is the mayor of Kinoguitan town in Misamis Oriental. Their late father Danilo Lagbas was 1st district representative of the province.

Some of the dead were med reps and one doctor who are attending a conference in the city.

bakit sabi sa news kanina, walang nakitang shrapnels?  those entry wounds look like shrapnel wounds to me.  bakit ang lumalabas eh IED (improvised explosive device) ang sinasabi?  not unless i see forks, plates or similar items as being thrown like projectiles by the blast and hence them causing the injuries (besides the blast impact itself), then i would suspect mortar round(s) as the primary.  if it was indeed IED, then normally shrapnels will be placed, like bolts, nuts, nails, even ball bearings.  if it was indeed IED without shrapnels, then it is possible there is a main target, probably the board member.  however, given the situation (extent, timing, nature) i believe it is best that authorities hold on first to information, especially that they have already established a lead, then if everything is already clear, put out all information. 

crimes like this makes me wanna see some quick street justice.  F#ck dami namatay at nasugatan, halimaw na ang kayang gumawa nito at ang halimaw pag nahuli, hindi na dapat kinukulong, nililibing na agad.  baka makatakas pa  at makapaghasik pa ng lagim.
