naturally the supreme court will do their job so that the public will know that the supreme court publicly or publicity proves that President has no influence to the Supreme court. to show that the supreme court is a independent body

they doing so to save the president shameful act signing without thinking the consequences of their action

tama ka dito sir, the TRO will only last up to 120 days if i'm not mistaken and there would be an oral argument next year.

Hindi kailanman ma pressure ang SC kasi it is a collegial body.  Surely, they took Senyora Miryam's wisdom. Either di nila alam yun kasi di nila napag aralan and they are embarass to admit that or wala pa similar case like that so they have to go back to cram in the last few days. Right at the start, I wrote it here na meron sigurado mag file sa SC to question the law and sure enough, marami nag petition. Ang nakakatawa, Senyor Simyon just signed it na di na binasa at hindi kumuha ng second opinion or even third opinion and just relied on his Executive Secretary. If he works this way, di katakataka that the country is going to the dogs dahil simpleng batas lang yan ay palpak na, how much more yun more complicated issues like the issue of Sabah or Panatag where there are international dimensions.

Another issue that Senyor Simyon has to settle now is the real ownership of the whole country - all the lands that are covered by the Constitution.  Remember that the Torrens System was only established in 1908 on the premise that the entire country was under American rule. How about those areas in Mindanao where the Americans have no historical or physical control?  Note that the US only inherited the lands by virtue of the Treaty of Paris - working again on the assumption that Spain controlled all the country.  Pero di naman control ng mga Kastila ang buong Mindanao, Sulu at Sabah. Kaya nga naimbento ang Caliber 45 dahil hindi ma subjugate ng mga Amerikano ang mga Moro nuon.

It occurs to me that many people are rejoicing at the restraining order against the Anti-Cybercrime Law simply because it means they can go back to swearing at one another and at other people online under the guise of free speech.

Esquire Smegman, if you are asking whether I agree with or support the Anti-Cybercrime Law, then I freely admit that I do, albeit on general principles rather than on specific provisions. Spend a leisurely hour on the Internet and I'm certain you'll find many occurrences wherein the right to free speech is used as the flimsiest of excuses to cast the most vulgar slurs upon others.

yeah without any reason some people call you stupid with cussing words with no apparent reason

then some people likes to sawsaw to the issue without knowing the real facts

like what happen to poor fellow where he called her mom "kala ko si mommy dionesia" and that poor fellow was verbally abuse by that girl even that poor fellow apologized still that girl abusing him in the net verbally unless she or he is a poser
